Ragging includes:

• Forcing juniors to perform unwanted acts
• Verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation
• Any behavior causing fear, stress, or embarrassment

Even seemingly minor acts are treated as ragging if they affect a student's dignity.

3. Preventive Measures

• Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents
• Orientation programmes for freshers and senior students
• Active Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad
• Regular monitoring of campus and hostel areas

4. Reporting Mechanism

Students can report incidents to:

• Principal or faculty members
• Hostel wardens
• Anti-Ragging Committee

Complaints can be made confidentially without fear of retaliation.

5. Disciplinary Actions

Students found guilty of ragging may face:

• Suspension or expulsion
